Station House Daylesford
quality 4 star accommodation, specialising in ladies nights, hens
nights, girls weekends, friends escape, mothers retreat and single
ladies looking for respite.
The Station House offers a
secure environment with a large number of beds to suite for
individual sleeping. From large twin rooms to small single. Some
are double share as well. Unlike some properties there is safe
off-street parking.
Only walking distance from
hotels and restaurants along the main thorough-a-fare. There is a
Sunday market opposite. In-house massage is available and a large
area in which you can gather in front of fires for a chat.( Don't
you just hate it) Veranda's that surround the Manor and Homestead
allows for out-door relaxation and on crisp night by a chummier
fire.
Mobile phones do not have a
very good reception here. So know one can ring you to see if you
are having a good time. Any one wanting to know your where about
can leave a message with the host who cleans up after you and
prepares the fire and give you a bundle of information and allows
you to bring along your drink combinations and snacks.
Tea and coffee is available
to all the rooms. Fridges in the communal areas are close to where
you need them when you are relaxing by a fire. CD players
available, wine glasses and spring water.
We have tarot readers who
can come in and a private spa. In fact it only takes 5 minutes to
drive to the spa resort to use the mineral water spas. Then there
is entertainment at the Palais theatre restaurant, partly owned by
Guy Pearce who frequents the theatre, Friday and Saturday nights
when between movies.. (Sorry for name dropping, but you really
need to know the gossip) The "D" Bar has a disco or Jazz night.
The Convent Gallery is only
5 minutes walk to the beautiful Alter bar. Then, we can arrange a
courtesy bus to the Hepburn pub for more entertainment. This is a
very secure pub with all those country guys to protect you from
any outrageous behaviour by others.
Then if you are a little
more conservative, we have some of the best places to dine out at
in Victoria. (Read the write ups.) Of course there is a
celebratory you might have to sit by as the dinning out
restaurants are the places to be. And during the day our garden
area is quite big so you can grab a book and site out there
undisturbed except by a duck or two or three may just waddle up to
say hello.
We are only telling you a
little to keep some surprises available to you. Like having some
male to prepare breakfast for you in the conservatory. Would that
not be a change!
